Here's a sneak peak at our progress! You may have been wondering what's going on at 141 W. Main recently. Well, we are moving forward on many fronts in our revitalization! We have completed the major construction and remodeling of the building. We are now working on the finishing work including flooring, painting, tiling, and installing light fixtures. We also recently poured a solid white concrete countertop for the bar area and installed some cabinets. We thought it was due time to announce the cafe name. Well, it's time for an update! Lots has happened since our last post about the building renovation taking place. For starters, we are getting closer to an actual 'opening' date. We've been asked on numerous occasions when we will open. We can tell you it will be Spring 2017, around March or April. It's been three weeks since we started the cafe remodeling. What have we 'bean' up to? ;-) We are excited to share with you that the interior framing is complete. That's right, things are really starting to take shape! All of the major framework including structural beams, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, a new and improved staircase to the second floor and the coffee bar on the main floor have been framed out. We have officially started the full building renovation for Full Bloom Coffee Roasters in historic downtown Garner, NC! Yesterday marked the beginning of a long, exciting journey for us as we start renovating a historic building on Main Street. We are not sure how long the full renovation will take, but we hope it will be within 8-10 months. The building, originally constructed around 1910 was home to the first bank in Garner.
