We wanted to get you up to speed on our progress! We should be open by the end of May, no later than the first week of June.
As we get closer to our opening date, we wanted to share more sneak peaks with you! We can't wait and are truly excited to be opening up a cafe on Main Street in historic Downtown Garner!
Since our last update in February, a lot more finishing work has been completed including window restorations, exterior painting, tile work, carpentry and the like.
The major electrical, HVAC and plumbing has been completed. We are currently tackling the bar design and downstairs flooring.
We restored all of the windows using the original wood frames as to preserve the history and beauty of their design. You will notice this prominently on the front facade. Our new front doors were installed - to historical specs - and the windows refurbished and painted which exposes the original window transoms and arches. They are truly windows to the past and future!
All of our lights and light fixtures have been wired up and installed, including emergency exit signs, and both bathrooms have plumbing and fixtures installed.
As we add more components and design elements, we've noticed the character of the space coming together nicely. Our vision is becoming a reality!
We look forward to crossing the finish line and seeing the old bank building come back to life once again - fully revitalized as Full Bloom Coffee & Craft.
